The Opportunity
The Manager, Business Intelligence & Systems Operations leads a team responsible for business intelligence, reporting, analytics, and administration of key business systems. This role partners with senior leaders across the organization to deliver actionable insights, improve operational effectiveness, and enable data-driven decision making.
The successful candidate combines strong leadership, business acumen, analytical expertise, and executive communication skills. This individual will develop team capabilities, drive operational excellence, and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on performance, planning, and strategic initiatives.
Your Role
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Intelligence Analysts and Systems Administrators.
- Establish team priorities, objectives, and operating processes while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic direction for reporting, analytics, dashboarding, and business systems management.
- Oversee administration and optimization of key business systems and operational tools.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve processes, data quality, system adoption, and reporting capabilities.
- Drive automation, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Partner directly with senior leaders to provide insights, analysis, and decision support.
- Lead development of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), operating reviews, executive presentations, and performance reporting.
- Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations that combine data, business context, financial results, and recommendations for leadership audiences.
- Support planning, forecasting, workforce management, and other business operating cadences.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships across Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Experience, and other business functions.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex analytical, reporting, and systems-related challenges.
What You Will Bring
- 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, business operations, or related functions.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Advanced Excel expertise and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing executive-level presentations, QBRs, business reviews, and performance reporting.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and presenting complex information to executive audiences.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams while driving strategic and operational initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, Kantata, ServiceNow, ERP platforms, HR systems, or similar enterprise applications.
- Experience with SQL, data governance, reporting automation, or business process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting SaaS, Professional Services, Customer Success, or Operations organizations.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
